Monster Buck

This is a huge beast of a mule deer that has been roaming around this particular area for a few years. I had heard about this legendary buck but never seen him except in a few photos.   I tracked him down last night and made a few images before it got too dark. Good times on a Friday night.

Here he is with what I presume is his sweetheart.

Look at that rack. And the size of his neck. Geez!

It’s getting dark so he wandered away from me to find a nice place to bed down. He turned to say goodbye.

    Steve,
let me know the exact location of this buck, I am own my way down and bringing my rifle. Do you have a good high beam on your car. If not I will bring down a high beam flashlight. I have a great night scope. Great picture, Biggest Mule deer I have ever seen. Great job, just think if you carried a gun instead of a camera you would have the house filled with trophy animals.

You should sell that to hunting magazines

Keep shooting, the camera that is.

Hahaha, that is the funniest response yet to one of my pictures. Spoken like a true ‘neck. My lips are sealed on his whereabouts…
