It’s kinda nice that sunrise isn’t till almost 8am lately. I don’t have to get up at 4:30am to drive into the park.  Here are a few morning landscape shots:

Alpenglow

This is a huge beast of a mule deer that has been roaming around this particular area for a few years. I had heard about this legendary buck but never seen him except in a few photos.   I tracked him down last night and made a few images before it got too dark. Good times on a Friday night.

Here he is with what I presume is his sweetheart.

Look at that rack. And the size of his neck. Geez!

It’s getting dark so he wandered away from me to find a nice place to bed down. He turned to say goodbye.
