MINI - Winter in Yellowstone
January 2027
This trip is 2 days shorter than my ‘normal’ Yellowstone winter trip. I had a little gap in my schedule and thought I would offer this shorter trip in addition to my usual trip. We will have 2 full days in the northern range, and 2 full days in the interior on a private snowcoach.
Jan 23 - Jan 28, 2027
Small group size - limited to just 5 participants (plus me!)
Cost - $5795 ($2500.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required to reserve space. Balance is due in full by October 1, 2026.)
Individuals will have their own hotel room.
Travel insurance is highly recommended. We are not responsible for weather-related delays and/or changes in the itinerary due to weather or circumstances beyond our control.
Included:
5 nights lodging in Gardiner, MT
YNP entrance fees
2 full days of photography via vehicle in the northern range and Lamar Valley
2 full days of photography via snowcoach in the interior (exact locations will depend on conditions and wildlife)
Daily breakfast / box lunch
Gratuity for snowcoach driver
Not Included:
Airfare/transportation to Bozeman
Meals/snacks other than mentioned above
Travel Insurance (recommended)
Note: I reserve the right to cancel if there are an insufficient number of participants. In that event, all deposits will be refunded in full.
Itinerary:
Day 1 - Jan 23, 2027
Begin in Bozeman, MT
I will pick you up around noon at the airport or your hotel and we will drive to Gardiner, MT. Dinner/meet and greet/photo talk in Gardiner

Explore the northern range of the park including the Lamar valley

Explore the northern range of the park including the Lamar valley
Day 4 - Jan 26, 2027
Explore Yellowstone Interior via private snowcoach
Day 5 - Jan 27, 2027
Explore Yellowstone Interior via private snowcoach
Day 6 - Jan 28, 2027
I will be driving back to Bozeman in the morning and can shuttle anyone back to the airport (or you can take a shuttle). We should be back in Bozeman for airport or hotel drop-off by around 10am.
