I have found a great passion for photography. I originally bought a ‘real’ camera to allow me to take better photographs of my daughter (my wife was four months pregnant at that time).  I read a couple of books to learn how to use the camera and started shooting. I quickly realized that I really enjoyed photographing the wonderful place that I live and the creatures that live here.  So I read more books and took more pictures. I learned and I experimented, succeeded and failed at making compelling pictures.  This blog is a result of my passion for photography and my desire to share some of the photos that I make.  I share whatever I feel like sharing – nature and wildlife photos, pictures of family, great shots, mediocre shots, whatever.   Please enjoy the blog, that’s why I spend the time updating it.
